Granted we'll see watermelon all year long, but is there anything that says Summer more than a delicious, juicy piece of watermelon? Or how about a big, ripe strawberry dripping with sweetness? These are just a couple of examples of the many foods that say Summer.
For some people, summertime is all about grilling out and enjoying all of the deliciousness that comes along with it. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, and ribs are all staples of a good summer cookout. But what would a cookout be without some tasty sides?
Potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw, and baked beans are all classic sides that go great with anything off the grill. And of course, you can't forget about the drinks! Lemonade, iced tea, and cold beer are all must-haves for a summer cookout.
What's Your Favorite Thing About Summer?
There are so many things to love about summer. If you had to choose just one, would it be the warmer weather? I really enjoy being outdoors when the weather is nice and sunny. It's also great to take advantage of the longer days by spending more time with friends and family. Summer is a great time to relax and enjoy the simple things in life.
