Horror Literature
Greetings, my fellow fiendish horror fan! We appreciate your interest in our horror literature newsletter! The horror literature newsletter is free to subscribers and is sent out each week with the latest blood-curdling happenings on BellaOnline’s Horror Literature Site, as well as information about the horror genre and the writers and artists behind our nightmares.

When and where did horror originate? No one alive today can quite say for sure, but fear has been an integral part of both our entertainment and our survival since well before horror stories were written and horror movies were made about the ghosts, ghouls, vampires, and monsters plaguing the shadowed edges of our collective psyche. Whether horror stories were told to scare children away from certain danger or to serve as a warning about a moral issue or dilemma, elements of horror exist all around us and can be found in urban legends, fairy tales, and campfire stories, as well as newspapers, non-fiction, and documentaries.

The horror literature newsletter is designed to serve as your resource to the macabre – past issues have included the following:

Reviews on both the latest yarns and classic works in horror literature

Interviews with horror legends as well as artists and writers new to the genre

Articles on recurring themes in horror literature and what those themes may suggest about humanity

Tips and guidelines for aspiring horror writers

The horror literature newsletter comes in a text-only format, so you can load it up quickly and easily on whatever device you happen to have with you when the deranged demonic clown pops out from underneath your bed.
